What’s inside
Two layers, each with a job.
Most socks are one fibre blend all the way through. These are knitted in two layers: a cotton-rich outer for the feel you know, and a NEORON® inner layer that sits against your skin.
An inner layer that doesn’t soak up
PVC-based fibre has essentially zero moisture regain. It doesn’t absorb water, so it dries quickly. Nefful’s own lab test shows the same.
A fibre that holds static
Rub PVC against skin or fabric and it picks up a negative static charge. That’s ordinary physics. Whether it does anything for you is a different question — we’re upfront about it.

The science, honestly
A small study of nurses — and what it can’t tell you.
In 2024, researchers in Taipei published a peer-reviewed study in Health Technology. Forty-four nurses wore Nefful NEORON functional stockings and, separately, compression stockings, and the team compared several blood-pressure measurements against the nurses’ bare-leg baseline.
They saw small, short-term differences in some measurements. But it was a small, single-hospital study of women, with no sham comparison and no long-term follow-up. It doesn’t show that any sock treats or prevents anything — and we don’t claim it does.

Straight answers.
Do these socks give off negative ions?
Nefful, the Japanese maker, says the NEORON® fibre builds up negative static electricity when it rubs against skin or other fabric, and its catalogue quotes ion counts from the company’s own lab tests. We pass that on as the manufacturer’s statement. It isn’t independently verified, a sock isn’t comparable to a forest or an ion generator, and we make no health claims for it. Are these compression or medical socks?
No. They are everyday comfort socks. They are not compression stockings and are not sold to treat or prevent any condition.
I have diabetes, poor circulation or numb feet. Are they suitable?
Please ask your doctor or podiatrist about socks and footwear before changing what you wear. Our socks are not a medical product.
How do I wash them?
Gently, below 60 °C, separately from other laundry, without heat, softener, bleach or anti-static detergent. The full guide is on our care page.
What size should I order?
Each product lists its foot-length range in centimetres. If you’re between sizes or unsure, message us on WhatsApp with your foot length.
Delivery, exchanges and returns?
Orders are shipped by courier within Malaysia, usually within 2–3 working days of confirmed payment, and arrive in about 2–5 working days. Shipping fees are confirmed on WhatsApp before you pay. Unworn, unwashed socks in their original packaging can be exchanged within 14 days of delivery. If an item is faulty or not what you ordered, we’ll replace or refund it. Message us on WhatsApp to arrange.
